Our school meals are freshly prepared and cooked in school each day. The menu, which can be found below, rotates over a 3 week period and you must select your child’s option each day (red, yellow or green) in advance by completing the Google form which can be accessed here.

School meals currently cost £15.50 per week unless your child is entitled to free school meals via the government’s Universal Free School Meal programme which allows all children in Reception Class, Year 1 and Year 2 to have a free school meal. Families in receipt of qualifying benefits or a low income may also qualify for a free school meal. Our office staff will be happy to help you to work out if your child is entitled to free school meals.
Payment for school dinners should be made via ParentPay, our online payment system by logging on to www.parentpay.com. Dinner money accounts on ParentPay should always remain in credit. If you have any issues using the ParentPay system, please speak to a member of the office team who will be pleased to help.
Please note that if your account is in arrears you may be asked to provide a packed lunch for your child until your account is in credit.
We require 2 week’s notice for any changes to meals, either from packed lunch to school meals or vice versa. Please complete the ‘Changes to Lunchtime Arrangements Form’ which can be found in the documents below, and return to the school office either in person or by email (admin@brookburn.manchester.sch.uk).
